NFT-based Fox series "Krapopolis"

It is possible that Fox will attract the attention of many people who do not even know the Crypto world thanks to his new series "Crapopolis", a plot based on the NFTs.

Acclaimed screenwriter Dan Harmon is working on a completely original series for Fox Entertainment. Produced by the animation studio Bento Box Entertainment - owned by Fox - Krapopolis will be the first animated series based on Blockchain, a popular system that allows data transfer. In addition, it serves as a cryptocurrency wallet, and they provide graphs of Bitcoin data.

According to the Deadline portal, Fox will launch a market that will be exclusively dedicated to Krapopolis. In this, you can buy various digital products. From NFT (Non-fungible Token) - which is something like a digital trading card based on art, music or videos, among other things -, art from the series and GIF backgrounds. Also, special "superfans" tokens of the series will be delivered, which will provide the opportunity to access "exclusive social experiences".

Fox Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier commented on the series and everything around it. "I don't want to go too far today, but as an advertiser-centric, artist-first, and animation-obsessed company, Fox will take advertisers into the world of blockchain-powered tokens, including NFTs. Dan, currently titled Krapopolis, will be the first fully curated on blockchain. And just as we are doing this for our own animation, we will also help your brands connect directly with fans and enthusiasts through NFT. With and for you, Fox will help to let art meet brands and technology ".

The series will be set in Ancient Greece. It will focus on a family of humans, gods, and monsters trying to rule one of the world's first cities, hopefully without killing anyone. In this context, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Fox President Michael Thorn commented: "Let Dan Harmon turn the myths of Greek civilization into a remarkably sharp commentary on today's politics, celebrities and pop culture." Its premiere is expected in 2022.
